Along the eastern coast of Anim, caught between the sharp peaks of the Kerrogan Mountain and the vast Korsic Ocean, lies a half-submerged coastline, where the hippofolk have chosen to settle. With almost no dry land to speak of, Braffor's cities comprise of buildings on stilts and well-anchored ships. The land between these beacons of civilization are wild and dangerous, and navigated primarily by shallow barges and small rowboats. The hippofolk that call this land home are hardy people, who show little fear in the face of the unique and myriad dangers of swamp-life.
Braffor doesn't get much in the way of tourists or travelers; it is both out of the way, and dangerous land to traverse. As such, visitors are often welcomed to their cities gleefully, and can expect to find themselves the center of attention, should they seek out one of the many taverns. If a traveler finds themselves stranded out in the swamp, however, well. Any local that finds them will certainly offer safe passage to one of the cities, but it will not be without much grumbling, and they will no doubt find themselves the subject of many harsh criticisms during the journey. After all, the citizens of Braffor suffer no fools.
